LXDE

Switched window manager to LXDE because the default Unity interface for ubuntu was getting really slow and possibly even somewhat buggy.

Love the fast performance! Blazingly quick and I should have done this long ago.

  1. Indeed Unity is driving many users away from Ubuntu. Consider using GNOME shell instead of Unity shell. It's in the Ubuntu repositories.

  2. I used to use GNOME and it's cool but LXDE is so truly fast that I plan to stick with it for now. Try it!

  3. I think I will try out Debian with LXDE on the live DVD then!
